UPES School of Advanced Engineering offers a range of B. Tech programs in various engineering disciplines, each designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in their field of study. At the curriculum and T The faculty members at School of Advanced Engineering are grooming technology builders and sustainable solution providers who will transform current cities into completely IoT-enabled, design unmanned vehicles for transportation, design and build drones and UAVs for space and defence activities, run smart manufacturing floor where everything is controlled by robots, transform every current technology into a digitalized version, and make 100% renewable energy a reality. Our curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in engineering principles, creative learning, and innovation, as well as hands-on experience through projects and experiential learning, laboratory work, and internships.

The School of Advanced Engineering offers B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering, B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, B.Tech. in Fire and Safety Engineering, B. Tech in Civil Engineering, B. Tech in Sustainability Engineering, B. Tech in Automotive Engineering, B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, B. Tech in Electronics and Computer Engineering, B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, and B.Tech. in Applied Petroleum Engineering. Each program offers a range of specializations, allowing students to tailor their education to their individual interests and career goals. The duration of the program is 4 years (8 semesters).

The School of Computer Science offers B.Tech. Computer Science Engineering (CSE) Program a 4-year course designed to help students carve a career in the competitive field of Computer Science. Students can pick a specialisation from various in-demand streams like Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Forensics, DevSecOps and others.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must either appear for the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) exam and qualify for the test. 80% seat are filled through this exam. or apply through one of the non-exam pathways. Up to 20% seats shall be filled through non-exam category (10% through JEE Mains and 10% through Board Merit). In case of seats following vacant in this category; UPES has the right to fill these through UPES Examination. University also reserves the right to conduct further CBT / Pen Paper / Online test for admission. The eligibility criteria for the non-exam pathways are as follows:

• Minimum 50% marks at Higher& Senior Secondary level (10th&12th) and minimum 50% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) at Senior Secondary level (12th class) &
  • JEE Main cut-off Rank to be announced (on UPES website) after the declaration of JEE Main results)
