The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has been established through an act of the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, namely the “Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University Act, 2019” (Delhi Act 04 of 2020) to provide quality education in applied sciences and skill education. The University aims to equip students with world-class skill education to enable access to aspirational jobs and inculcate an entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurship. DSEU creates a win-win for the youth and industry by filling the existing gaps in skill training.
Building on the education philosophy of thinkers, such as Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave, DSEU aims to integrate the use of the hand, head and heart for balanced living and engagement in lifelong learning. The focus is on teaching both self-reliance for lifelong independence and the wisdom toward nurturing and valuing interdependence.
The University wishes to change the existing paradigm of skilling, making skill acquisition aspirational and providing opportunities to all for skilling, up-skilling and reskilling. Besides, DSEU will support and nurture entrepreneurs and provide quality mentorship to steer the entrepreneurial journeys of those interested, by providing incubation and hand-holding.
The University’s focus is on offering programs in close collaboration with industry partners, which gives our students an edge in a better understanding of the skills required by the industry. Students undertake live projects, regularly interact with domain-specific experts, and take up on-the-job training in organizations during their program work, simultaneously integrating the theory learned in the classroom with actual work experience. It is this model of “learning by doing” which becomes a win-win situation for all stakeholders involved. Further, we have a dedicated team for External Relations and Placements & Partnerships which have created a transparent and robust ecosystem helping recruiters and students make informed decisions.
DSEU equips students with world-class skill education to enable access to aspirational jobs and inculcate an entrepreneurial mindset. Annual cultural, sports and technical festivals, national/international days are organized by various clubs & societies of all the campuses. These events not only provide an opportunity to the students in networking with the professional world, but also helps them to hone their creative, people’s skills and technical skills.
G.B. Pant DSEU Okhla-I Campus
Right education & academic environment leads students to develop responsible & sustainable solutions to real world problems. G.B. Pant DSEU Okhla 1 Campus (Erstwhile G B Pant Govt. Engineering College) providing such a learning environment was rechristened and found its home under the aegis of Delhi Skill & Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) in the year 2020. It was originally founded in the year 2007 by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi to run B. Tech programs & is proud of its excellent UPSC qualified faculty, distinguished alumni & some of the brightest minds competing year on year through the JAC counselling. The institute was established with the aim of imparting quality technical education for the students of Delhi & nearby areas. Today to name a few, we have our proud alumni in Apple India, Oracle USA, Nike USA, Accenture, TCS, Amazon, SAP, Cognizant, IBM, Hitachi, Daikin, Bluestar, Capgemini, Maruti, Nokia, Airtel, Infosys, Hughes, Yamaha, ISRO, Indian Navy etc. Our students are regularly placed in top organizations like TCS, Infosys, Maruti, Amazon, Byju’s, Godrej, Accenture, Ericsson, Hitachi etc. with above industry packages.
Buoyed by the excellent faculty & staff, the campus has started M. Tech & Ph. D at G.B. Pant DSEU Okhla 1 campus from 2022-23 academic session. The institute has the goal to nurture talent & aims to be at par with the best technical colleges on a national level within the next few years. A new campus is going to be carved in the serene surroundings of Okhla wherein the students would get exposure to high-end cutting-edge laboratories, exciting research ecosystem and opportunities to rub shoulders with the technical & thought leaders from the industry & academia.

DSEU Okhla II Campus
DSEU Okhla II Campus (Erstwhile Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering, DITE) is strategically located in the Okhla Industrial Area, one of the most highlighted industrial areas of Delhi. The Okhla II campus has a world-class infrastructure to assist the shift in the existing paradigm of skilling, acting as a means for DSEU to make skill acquisition aspirational and providing opportunities for all. Being a part of DSEU, the Okhla II campus will ensure compliance to National Education Policy 2020 guidelines, to enhance the experience of students and ensure quality training. Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering (Presently DSEU, Okhla-II campus) was initially established with technical and financial assistance from the Government of Italy with a motto to contribute towards the development of industries in and around Delhi through supply of trained manpower, undertaking job work of machining and manufacturing of sophisticated tools. DSEU Okhla-II Campus conducts the B. Tech Programs in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. The DSEU Okhla-II campus is working with the aim of imparting quality technical education for the students residing in Delhi and outside of Delhi. The Campus has well established state of art labs in the area of Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science and Mechatronics engineering. Okhla-II campus encourages the students to design and fabricate various projects in the field of mechanical and mechatronics streams and in this regard the students have been awarded at various levels.
The Okhla-II campus has a well-established Training and Placement Cell headed by a dynamic team of faculty members and officers who have a vast experience in teaching, production and liaison with the industry. More than 23 companies visited the campus over the previous academic years. Some of these include Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Bajaj Auto Limited, Jay Bharat Maruti limited, Uno Minda, Raphe mPhibr, Addverb technologies, Knorr Bremse India, Mitutoyo, and Lynkit among many more. The main aim of the cell is to give the assistance for placements to the students and to improve the overall worth of students as per the demands of the market and the quantity of placements. Pre-placement talks, Interactive sessions with the industry experts are organized by the cell on a regular basis, for the professional development of students. DITE Innovation and Incubation Foundation (DITEIIF) helps nurture startups and allows innovation of business models using creative thinking and problem-solving techniques. It provides for facilities such as co-working spaces, mentorships.
DSEU Okhla – II campus has bagged sponsored research projects from Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India. These projects are aimed towards developing sustainable solution for the industry and protecting the environment. Consultancy projects are also carried out at DSEU Okhla – II Campus for providing solution to the tooling industry. DSEU Okhla-II is one of the research centers of DSEU to carry out the applied research in collaboration with industries and by conducting M. Tech and Ph. D programs of DSEU especially in the field of Tool and Mechanical engineering.
