JAC Delhi Counselling
For counselling and admission to Undergraduate Programmes in premier Delhi Government funded universities, offering Engineering, Architecture and Management programmes in Participating institutes (Five). Admission will be conducted through online counselling for 5 rounds. After completion of Round 5, vacancies, if any, will be filled in the spot round.
85% seats in all the participating institutions are earmarked for Resident Indian Nationals belonging to Delhi region (as specified below), while the rest 15% seats are earmarked for Resident Indian Nationals belonging to outside Delhi region.
- A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only.
- A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.
Note: For a candidate, who has passed the qualifying examination through Patrachar Vidyalaya, Delhi / National Institute of Open School, Delhi (NIOS), the criterion for deciding the region shall be the location of his/her centre of examination. In other words, if the centre of examination is located in the NCT of Delhi, the candidate shall be considered under the Delhi Region and if the centre of examination is located outside NCT of Delhi, he/she shall be considered under the Outside Delhi Region.

Eligibility Conditions:
- Admission to B. Tech. Programmes in DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT, DSEU and Dual Degree (B.Tech.+ MBA) in IGDTUW will be strictly made on Common Rank List (CRL) Rank in JEE (Main) – 2023 Paper-I
- Admission to IIIT-Delhi will be based on percentile score obtained in Paper-I of JEE Main 2023 and bonus points for achievements in various areas like Olympiads, Programming Contest, National Talent Search, Sports, Culture, Chess, Innovation, etc.
- Admission in B. Arch Course in NSUT and IGDTUW will be strictly made on Common Rank List (CRL) Rank in JEE (Main) – 2023 Paper-II.
Qualifying Examination
The qualifying examination for admission to all the programmes offered by the participating Universities / Institute will be any one of the following:
- Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year 10+2 course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
- Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year 10+2 course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
- Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE.
Note: Candidates who have appeared at the annual examination in the year 2024 and have been placed in compartment (supplementary) will not be eligible for admission for the year 2024.
| For B. Tech. Programmes offered by NSUT, DTU, IGDTUW, DSEU and Dual Degree B.Tech. (MAE) + MBA at IGDTUW | A candidate securing 60% or more marks in an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and has passed English (Core or Elective) as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination level AND having JEE Main 2023 Rank (Paper-I) shall be eligible for admission to the B. Tech. programme provided he/she has passed in each subject separately. |
| For B. Tech. Programmes at IIIT-D | A candidate who has secured 70% or more marks in the aggregate of best of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subject to 70% or more marks in Mathematics in the qualifying examination AND having JEE Main 2023 Rank (Paper I) shall be eligible for admission. |
| For B. Arch. Programmes at NSUT and IGDTUW | No candidate shall be admitted to B. Arch. Programme unless he/she has passed examination at the end of 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject, as the case may be AND qualified JEE Main 2023 (Paper-II) examination. |
Minimum Marks Criteria in Qualifying Examination for candidates belonging to Reserved Categories / Sub-Categories
- For DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT and DSEU only
- Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL): 55%.
- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST): 50%.
- Defence (CW): 55%.
- Persons with Disabilities (PD): 50%.
- For IIIT-D only
- Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL): 65%.
- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST): 60%.
- Defence (CW): 65%.
- Persons with Disabilities (PD): 65%.
NOTE: There is no marks relaxation for EWS category candidates in any of the participating institutes/universities.
Fee Structure:
Registration cum Counselling fee: Rs.1500 + Transaction charges (as applicable)
Seat Acceptance Fee and Institute Fee:
The admitted candidates are required to pay only a part of the Seat Acceptance Fee during online reporting/spot round of the counselling. The details of the total academic/Seat Acceptance Fee for various participating institutions/universities are given below. The balance fee will have to be deposited by the admitted candidates at the allotted institute/university as per the schedule and procedure notified by the respective Participating Institutes.
