JAC Chandigarh Counselling

Admissions will be conducted through Three rounds of online counselling followed by one Special Round and one spot round of counselling.
There is no Chandigarh Quota for institutes of Panjab University. There is no reservation under OBC category. Therefore, the candidates who have opted OBC in JEE (Main)-2024 can change their category to BC (provided they fulfil the requirement of BC as per Panjab University norms), else they will be considered under General Category.
For admission to institutes under Chandigarh Administration, the admissions shall be under two categories i.e., CHANDIGARH QUOTA and OUTSIDE CHANDIGARH QUOTA.
Those candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination (12th/equivalent) from schools/colleges located in the Union Territory of Chandigarh and recognized by the Chandigarh Administration, shall be considered under the Chandigarh Quota. All other candidates, who have passed their qualifying examination from elsewhere, shall fall under the Outside Chandigarh Quota.

Eligibility Criteria: For B.E / Integrated B.E (Chemical)-MBA
- All India Rank prepared by National Testing Agency (NTA) on the basis of score in JEE (Main)-2023 Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech.
- Passed 10+2/equivalent examination with 5 subjects (i) Language (Hindi/ English/Punjabi/ Any Other Language) (ii) Physics (iii) Mathematics (iv) Any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject (v) Any other subject OR Passed 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subject.
Eligibility Criteria: For B. Arch
- All India Rank prepared by National Testing Agency (NTA) on the basis of score in JEE (Main)-2023 Paper 2A (B. Architecture).
- Passed 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also 50% in aggregate of 5 subjects. Or Passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50 % marks in aggregate.
Eligibility Conditions:
- A candidate belonging to any category shall be considered for seat allocation if he/she is declared successful in 12th or equivalent examination by Board/University/Council.
- A candidate who gets a compartment in the 12th /equivalent examination held in April/May 2024 shall be eligible for admission under JAC-2024, if he/she clears the same (by appearing in the supplementary examination) before the last date of registration.
- Aggregate marks percentage in 12th or equivalent examination shall be worked out as suggested by the certificate awarding Board/University/Council. If the Board/University/Council awards letter grades without providing the equivalent percentage of marks on the grade sheet, the candidate should obtain a certificate from the respective Board/University/Council specifying equivalent percentage conversion formula and submit at the time of reporting/counselling. In the absence of such a certificate, the decision of JAC2024 regarding his/her eligibility shall be final.
- Other general conditions are that each candidate must- (a) bear a good moral character and should not have been debarred from any institution/ University, (b) be an Indian National (except for those seats which are open to Foreign Nationals/NRIs), (c) satisfy the prescribed medical standards of fitness
