Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST BTech Programs
Qualifying Examination:
Applicants appearing for LPUNEST (B.Tech.) should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2023, in final examination of 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.
Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination:
For B. Tech and B. Tech (Hons.) Programmes Pass with 60% aggregate marks* in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English) subject to qualifying LPUNEST*
For B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. (Food Technology) and B.Tech. (Biomedical Engineering) Pass with 60% aggregate marks* in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST*
For BTech. Chemical Engineering (CHE), BTech (Civil Engineering), BTech (Mechanical Engineering), BTech (Mechatronics Engineering), BTech (Aerospace Engineering) and BTech (Automobile Engineering) Pass with 60% aggregate marks* in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST*
For BTech (CSE – AI and Data Engineering), B.Tech. (CSE – Decision Science and Machine Learning), B.Tech. (CSE – Software Product Engineering), BTech (Hons.) (CSE- Data Science and Data Engineering), BTech (Hons.) (CSE- Cyber Security and Block Chain/), BTech (Hons.) (CSE- Full Stack Software Development) Pass with 60% aggregate marks* in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST* and Interview.
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.
* 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
* The LPUNEST exam offers convenient choices to candidates: Online remotely proctored from Home (recommended by the university, based on available resources) or Test centre-based options.

Merit in LPUNEST, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.
Scholarship
LPU Offers Scholarships on the basis of National Level Entrance Exams Like JEE Main Based on their Percentile Score, JEE Main Paper 2, NEET, NATA, on the basis of LPU NEST, on the basis of qualification after 10th, 12th, Lateral Entry programs, toppers of education boards, sports, cultural, R&D, co-curricular, social service, bravery awards etc.
Fee Structure:
For BTech CSE, Mathematics & Computing and all other branches Rs.1,40,000 per semester. BTech CSE and specializations Rs.1,70,000 per semester. BTech Honors with CSE specializations Rs.2,00,000 per semester.
