Fee Structure IITs
Note:
- The fee structure shown here is tentative. Candidates are advised to contact the admitting institute and get confirmation at the time of admission.
- One time payment will be paid at the time of admission only.
- Caution deposits are one time payment which includes Institute, Library, hostel security and is refundable after the completion of course.
- Semester fee should be paid at the end of every Semester in addition to hostel and mess charges (other payments in semester fee included annual medical insurance in some of the institutes).
- Grand total is the total amount that will be paid at the time of admission only for the first semester. From second semester onwards the fee payment will be less than the first semester.
- Tution fee mentioned here is for Gen/EWS/OBC with above 500000 income for Indian Nationals. However, there is an exemption for reservation categories SC/ST/PwD and certain income limits in all the institutes.
- Income limit <100000 has full waiver in tution fee, Income limit 100000 to 500000 range has 2/3 rd exemption.
- * Full tution fee waiver/reimbursement for parental income below 2.5 lakh.
