Institute Entrance Exam BITSAT
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is an entrance exam conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses (BE) at its three campuses located at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. Admissions are offered annually to the candidates into BE, BPharm and MSc programmes after qualifying for the admission test. The entrance exam is conducted online in two phases and around 3 lakh students apply for it every year.
The process to fill out the BITSAT Application form is mentioned below:
Visit the Official Website:
- Visit the official website
- Click on the ‘Application Link’ to Register
- Read the instructions carefully and click on ‘Allow me to apply online’
Fill Registration form:
- You will be allowed to the registration page and click on ‘New registration link’
- Fill the required details such as candidates name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email ID etc
- Enter the security captcha and click on ‘proceed’ button
Fill Application Form and Submit:
- Application form will be displayed on the screen
- Personal details- students are required to fill the details like candidate name, father name, mother name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email ID, family annual income, nationality, religion, category, exam centre
- Enter class 12 Examination details such Institute name, university/board name, year of appearing and passing, choose the subject Mathematics or Biology
- Communication details such as state, district, address, city, pin code etc
- Fill online test option either Session-1 or session-2 or both
- Candidates has to select BITSAT online exam centre from the drop- down menu
- Candidates has option to choose three preferences of exam city
- After filling the details, click on ‘confirm and submit’ button
- After submission, unique Application number will be generated
- Note down the number for future reference
Upload Scanned Documents:
- Once the personal details are added, the documents must be scanned and uploaded as per the prescribed format
- Scan candidate photograph, signature
- Go through the upload image option
- Select the required images
- Upload the selected images one by one very carefully
Fee Payment:
- The final step is to complete the registration fee.
- The application fee is paid through online mode using net banking, debit/credit card, any other payment mode
- Application fee in non-refundable
Take a printout of Application:
- After the fee confirmation, candidates will be able to take print out of the application
- Click on the “print Final Application’ and take printout of it
- Candidates are suggested to take extra printouts for further use.
