The Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence is a multidisciplinary, student-centric research university established in 2011 by Shiv Nadar, one of India’s foremost philanthropists and a pioneer of technological revolution. Shiv Nadar Deemed-to-be University was founded by the Shiv Nadar Foundation and is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission) and accredited with A Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR was established by an ACT of the state legislature of UP under the Shiv Nadar University ACT.
It has four Schools, viz., Engineering, Natural Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management & Entrepreneurship, and the Academy of Continuing Education. We were the first university in the country to offer a 4-year multidisciplinary research degree. Today, we are continuing as trailblazers with new kinds of curriculum, championed by faculty drawn from some of the top institutions in the country and the world. At Shiv Nadar, academic research is the fundamental building block of the academic mission. It includes basic and applied research, scholarly publications and creative expression, and interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research. In 10+2, the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Maths must be >=65%
Route 1: JEE Mains 2024 or 2023: High performers may be offered direct admissions based on their JEE (Mains) score in 2024 or 2023. The University reserves the right to interview the candidate in case needed.
Route 2: SNUSAT + APT.
Route 3: College Board SAT + Interview – Candidates can apply with a valid SAT score.
Route 4: ACT + Interview – Candidates can apply with a valid ACT score.
Route 5: CUET 2024 + Interview
Fee Structure:
Aspirants need to pay an applicable entrance fee of INR 2500 for BTech at Shiv Nadar University. Admission fee Rs.60,000 (one-time, non-refundable), Security deposit Rs.30,000 (one-time, refundable at the time of leaving the university). Tuition fee for BTech CSE is Rs.5,00,000 per annum. For other BTech courses Rs.3,50,000. Living charges inclusive of hostel fee, mess charges, laundry, medical services is Rs.2,00,000. The hostel fee considered is for twin sharing non-AC rooms. Any other type of accommodation, including AC or single rooms will be charged additionally
