Mode of Admission

Siksha ‘o’ Anusandhan (SOA) admissions for various UG and PG courses of Engineering is done through either SAAT (Siksha O Anusandhan Admission Test). SAAT is a national-level entrance test conducted by Siksha O Anusandhan every year to select students for different programs offered in constituent institutes or schools of SOA. or various national-level entrance exams i.e., JEE Main, NEET, CLAT, CAT etc. Further, the university releases merit lists for students who got qualified in the respective entrance exams. For the final selection process, it is mandatory for students to appear for the counselling process conducted by the university.

Eligibility Criteria:

For BTech CSE and related specializations-Candidate shall have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (50% in case of SC / ST / OBC category) and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.

For other BTech courses-Candidate shall have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC / ST / OBC category) and obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.

Fee structure:

For BTech CSE and CSIT, tuition fee is Rs.1,37,500. For BTech ECE and EEE, tuition fee Rs.1,27,500. For BTech CE, EE, ME, tuition fee Rs.1,17,500. Caution money onetime refundable Rs.5000. Hostel fees must be paid yearly. Rs.1,20,000 for 2 occupancy A/c Rooms, Rs. 90,000 for 3 occupancy A/c Rooms. Rs. 80,000 for 4 occupancy A/c Rooms. Rs.50,000 for non-A/c Rooms per annum.
