Institute Entrance Exam AEEE
Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE) is the computer-based entrance test held for 10+2 passed candidates for admission into BTech courses. Admission via AEEE is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Nagercoil (new campus from 2024). Candidates who secure ranks in AEEE have to then appear in the counselling process called Amrita BTech Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). Through which, AEEE qualified candidates can then participate in programme selection and seat allotment leading to admission to the desired course and campus.
The process to fill out the AEEE Application form is mentioned below:
For offline Mode:
- The AEEE application form can be purchased at the university counters in Bangalore, Coimbatore, and Amritapuri.
- The aspiring candidates will have to submit a demand draft addressed to the Amrita School of Engineering Chennai or Coimbatore at the university counters for purchasing the application form.
- Candidates will receive a confirmation SMS and a link to complete the rest of the application procedure, at their registered mobile numbers, on submitting the filled-in application form at any of the university campus
For Online Mode: Follow the below steps for Registration
Visit the Official Website:
- Visit the official website
- Application can be filled either online or offline
- Candidates are advised to have their own mobile number and email iD
- All the updates will be informed to the candidate through SMS/Email or Both
- Click on ‘Registration link’ and fill basic details
Fill Registration form:
- Fill the information for Registration like Name, Email, Mobile Number, Any Password of Your Choice
- Choose State, city from the dropdown menu, enter text as shown in the box
- Select check box for agreeing the terms and conditions
- Click on ‘Register’ button
- Verification mail will be forwarded to the candidate mail id with link for confirmation
- Click on the link provided in the mail ID for candidate confirmation
- After successful registration, login credentials will be mailed to the entered email ID
Fill Application Form:
- A login window will appear on the screen.
- In the next step, candidates have to log in with the email id and password and click on login button.
- Application will be displayed on the screen
- Candidates have to enter their names, parents’ names, gender, nationality, etc, under the personal details section
- Communication details such as candidates’ addresses, contact numbers
- Candidates will have to enter their academic details as well and provide their marks obtained in the 10th and 12th board examinations
Select Examination Location and mode of Examination
- In the next step, candidates are required to select the preferred exam locations and their preferred mode of examination
- They have to Select a Type of Examination either through Computer Based Test (CBT) or Paper Based Test (PBT).
- They can select three preferences for exam cities
- Candidate has to select the mode of admission through AEEE or JEE Mains
- Candidates with a valid JEE Mains score will have to enter their respective scores and other required details
Upload Scanned Documents:
- After filling application form, the documents must be scanned and uploaded as per the prescribed format
- Scan candidate photograph, signature, other documents (If applicable)
- Go through the upload image option
- Select the required images
- Upload the selected images one by one very carefully
Fee Payment:
- The application fee will be paid either through online mode using net banking, debit/credit card, any other payment mode
- Offline mode of payment through money order, demand draft etc
Submit Application Form:
- After filling the details, verify carefully and click on submit
- Application Number will be generated. Candidates have to save the application number for future use
Take a printout of Application:
- After the final submission, candidates will be able to take print out confirmation page
- Candidates are suggested to take extra printouts for further use.
